Carbon Copy C'est Tres Bon!

Now an average band when faced with Eurostar cancellations, Dover and Calias staff strikes and a group of eager refugees waiting to jump into the Tour van may say..."Paris? Nah, we shall catch the next one". But Carbon Copy are not your average band!!! So with temperatures in the mid 40's, CC loaded up the wagons and headed out to the centre of Paris to perform for a fantastic night of music, food and sweating all in aid of the wonderful Parisian crowd that give so much to the local homeless individuals on the streets of Paris. Deep in the crypt of the most awesome Catherdral, Carbon Copy were proud to drop 2 sets of epic musical mayhem, which were lapped up like a saucer of milk in front of a parched kitty. Once locked, loaded and executed, the keen of eye would see the buzzed 5 piece and a selection of their nearest and dearest drinking under the Eiffel Tower at 2am....Rock and Roll. We thank Thibaud, Steve and Geoffrey for inviting us to the best crowd that Paris could ever have hoped for.

Romance, music and a smoke machine!

As many bands know, the "playing" part of music is the fun part, the rigging, lighting, sound checks, rehearsal etc are some what less rock and roll..unless you book to perform at the Marconi Club in Chelmsford. Russell Kemp took Carbon Copy into his venue of wonders and there before us lay a stage, a drum riser, smoke machine, more lights then the M25 on Xmas Eve, and a sound desk and skills that made music sound as it should...awesome. Add to that, Roamers Caterers taking care of every mouthful of food, and Valentines Rocks 2016, in aid of Smile Of Hope was only ever going to be a roaring lovefest of musical mayhem. The crowd, as always were beyond generous, raising just over £4,500 for the charity and sang, danced, drank and ate their way through to midnight. Carbon Copy have always had the best fans in the world, now we may have found the best entourage to travel with us! A huge thanks to Rob Morris who opened the show and serenaded the 120+ crowd with some classic Sinata, Buble and Nat King Cole...made us want the night off to sit back and simply listen :)Thanks also to Paul Bartlett @Plasma Video Solutions for capturing it all!
